AirTreks puts the flights on this route at about $2,297 to $3,504 per person in economy. That is a planning estimate from AirTreks fare history, checked 1 October 2026, and an AirTreks specialist will price your exact route and dates.
When to go
No single month suits every stop, so pick the beaches that matter most. Goa's monsoon runs from June to September, when most of the beach shacks close. Phuket and the Andaman coast get the southwest monsoon from May to October and are at their best from November to April. Tahiti is the other way round: dry from May to October, hot and wetter from November to April.
Leave in November and you get Goa and Phuket in season and Sydney and Auckland in early summer. Tahiti will be in its wet season, which still has plenty of sunny days and is the low season, with fewer people and lower prices on the islands.
The overland stretches
-
Delhi to Goa is a long train ride down the west side of India. Madgaon is the main station for the beaches.
-
There is no railway to Phuket. Take the train from Bangkok to Surat Thani and a bus from there, or book the combined train and bus ticket.
-
Los Angeles to Miami is a road trip across the whole of the southern USA. Amtrak's Sunset Limited covers the first part, Los Angeles to New Orleans, in about three days.
If this is too long a honeymoon, AirTreks has a shorter honeymoon route through Tahiti, Sydney, Bali and Paris. More ideas are on honeymoon around the world.
